Female anthropologists
Work related to the research group “Anthropology, photography and gender”, at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, coordinated by Professor Fabiene Gama. The group researches the production of ethnographic photography in Brazil, paying special attention to the production of women in the first half of the 20th century. The illustrations presented here were made digitally, in 2021 and 2022, for posters to publicize the group’s activities.
PT-BR: Trabalho relacionado com o grupo de pesquisa “Antropologia, fotografia e gênero”, da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul, coordenado pela professora Fabiene Gama. O grupo realiza pesquisa sobre a produção de fotografia etnográfica no Brasil, dando especial atenção à produção das mulheres da primeira metade do século XX. As ilustrações apresentadas aqui foram realizadas de modo digital, em 2021 e 2022, para cartazes de divulgação das atividades do grupo.
